TERC India consists of a team of 50+ Christians in India as leaders for shouldering the responsibilities in maintaining this institution. It was prayed over and conceptualized on 22nd November 2019 when brethren from various parts of India assembled together in thanksgiving. However it took almost another year of prayer and planning for TERC to take the baby steps, and is functional since 2nd October 2020.
TERC is not an organization, but an assembly oriented ministry for Scriptural learning.
To encourage training of Inductive Bible Study, Biblical Hermeneutics (Historical-Literary-Grammatical-Theological), Exegesis, Expository Preaching, Biblical Studies, and Theological Studies in and by Local Assemblies (Churches).
Mentors: Provide guidance using standard resources. Committed to Evangelical Orthodoxy. Good exegetes.
Mentees: Self learns regularly, shares feedback, seeks help. Once skilled, helps train others in Local Assemblies.
We at TERC believe in learning the Word of God and growing in it, living the Word of God by practicing it, and leading in the Word of God by equipping others—one baby step at a time. And we trust, the God of increase shall bless and bring it back bountiful.
